PUERINI'S,

Puerini's fine cuisine is as dependable as olives in antipasto. Their reputation centers around their prize-winning pasta, though there are many chicken, meat and seafood selections. The "pollo alla fontinella" ($12.95) was superb " a pan-fried chicken breast folded over marinated artichoke hearts, pine nuts and fontinella cheese. Yellow squash, zucchinis and onions imparted a fresh flavor to the "gamberetti primavera" ($12.95), with bountiful shrimp also adorning the green fettucine. FYI: Puerini's has ended its BYOB days, so you can now choose from more than 40 wines.
